I never really get tired of looking at the Brooklyn Bridge. There’s so much history surrounding it. And the design and construction is so very Brooklyn.
You may be able to tell by now that a lot of my pictures are shots in and of Brooklyn neighborhoods. It's where I grew up, so it speaks to me the most. This shot is one of my favorites!
This is my home parish in Brooklyn. I grew up at this parish. It really is like my home!
There is unexpected beauty in the urban landscape.
It's like an old friend, or a first love. It's home to me!Since getting into photography I find myself returning home in my visual preference, again and again. I started out shooting the same things everyone else has ever shot (landscapes, sunsets, etc.). These days I lean in the creative direction of my urban roots; the grit and the soul of the urban landscape of New York City. In particular, my hometown of Brooklyn. This site is an effort to display that beauty and to share it with you. Concrete and Cobblestone™ represents the heart and soul of my work. I hope you enjoy it.
